Douglas, Isle Of Man

Douglas, Isle Of Man

A Horsedrawn Tram on the Promenade
Photography: Adrian Baker

postmarked in 2008 with two Isle Of Man Christmas stamps

This is my first Isle Of Man postcard, but it came in a plastic bag in pieces! I glued it back together with photo safe glue.

from CIA - World Factbook:
Part of the Norwegian Kingdom of the Hebrides until the 13th century when it was ceded to Scotland, the isle came under the British crown in 1765.
Isle of Man is a British crown dependency but is not part of the UK. However, the UK Government remains constitutionally responsible for its defense and international representation.

That's the worst thing that could happen to your postcard. I got mad when I received mine folded and creased but yours was really bad. I hope the post office staff would give extra care in handling them.

By the way, did you give me your postal address already? I must have misplaced it, sorry :(
