Antique Automobiles, Henry Ford Museum

The Museum's display of 175 antique automobiles, comprises one of the world's largest collections of historic motor vehicles. Significant automobiles of both foreign and domestic manufacture are represented. The evolution of the automobile is traced from the early horseless carriage to a prototype of the "tomorrow's car". All three major phases of development - steam, electric and gasoline - are included.
