A Proboscis Monkey from Brunei

Proboscis monkey (Nasalis carvatus) is confined to Borneo.  It is mainly found in coastal swap forests.  One of the largest monkeys in the world, the male proboscis monkey with its long and pendulous nose and outsized stomach has a harem of up to 10 females, attracted by his weird good looks.  Feed mainly on leaves and seed of a variety of trees.

This was postmarked from Brunei with two Brunei Darussalam stamps in 2008.
