The Wild Bunch with Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid

On August 13, 1896, Butch Cassidy and his gang held up the Montpelier Idaho Bank for $7,165.00.  This was the first robbery credited to Butch Cassidy and "The Wild Bunch".  This photo was taken in Fort Worth, Texas after robbing a Winnemucca, Nevada bank.

This postcard is postmarked in 2014 with a Harry Potter stamp.

Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch was one of the loosely organized outlaw gangs operating out of the Hole-in-the-Wall in Wyoming during the Old West era in the United States. It was popularized by the 1969 movie, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
