Cabo de Gata-NÃjar Natural Park is in the south-eastern corner of Spain.
Offshore are there are numerous tiny rocky islands and underwater you will find extensive coral reefs teeming with marine life.
In 1997 it was designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
