1. Tigers are the largest naturally occurring specie of cats.

2. Of tiger subspecies, the Siberian Tiger is the biggest cat that can weigh well up to eight hundred pounds.

3. Tigers are very beautiful and their striped coat makes for ideal camouflage.

4. A tiger's stripes are like fingerprints - no two are alike. In fact the stripes' pattern is often used to identify individual tigers in the wild.

5. Tigers are highly ferocious and unlike the laid back male lion, it's never wise to turn your back to a tiger even in captivity. Even seasoned zoo keepers report tigers assume a stalking position and prepare to strike when they turn their back to them in the cage.

Horses and carriages travel up and down a street in a New England village. In the background, the rolling hills fade into the blue sky. The buildings, people and animals appear to be flat, though a convincing sense of space has been achieved by reducing the scale and tone of the houses and haystacks in the background. 'Grandma' Moses did not begin painting until she was in her seventies. Completely untutored, she was 'discovered' by a New York collector in 1938 and by the mid-1940s her paintings had become so popular that they were being used for Christmas cards. A 'naive' or 'primitive' artist, she made paintings which have a highly decorative quality because of the lack of realistic perspective. Painting from memory, she recorded the life of her native New England as it had been in the late nineteenth century. The childlike innocence and clarity which suffuse her paintings made them popular both to art-world sophisticates in search of an authentic vision and to a wide range of art-lovers.

Located a the end of the Tracy Arm Fjord in Alaska, the Sawyer Glaciers are the sorce of this blue glacier ice.

Tracy Arm is a fjord in Alaska near Juneau. It is named after a Civil War general named Benjamin Franklin Tracy. It is located about 45 miles (72 km) south of Juneau. Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness was designated as a wilderness area by the United States Congress in 1980.

The Tracy Arm area covers 653,179 acres (2,643.32 km2). During the summer, the fjord has considerable floating ice ranging from the size of a three-story building to hand-size pieces.

The twin Sawyer Glaciers, North Sawyer and South Sawyer, are located at the end of Tracy Arm. The wildlife in the area includes black and brown bears, deer, wolves, harbor seals, and a variety of birds, such as arctic terns and pigeon guillemots.

Amy Brown (born 1972, in Bellingham, Washington) is a popular fantasy and fairy artist. Her career began in the 1990s, and today her watercolor designs appear on t-shirts, calendars, and buttons; and people have been using her images for tattoos.

Two books of her artwork have been published, The Art of Amy Brown and The Art of Amy Brown II.

Wisconsin Dells is a city in south-central Wisconsin, with a population of 2,418 as of the 2000 census.

The city takes its name from the dells of the Wisconsin River, a scenic glacially-formed gorge that features striking sandstone formations along the banks of the Wisconsin River. Together with nearby Lake Delton, the city forms an area known as "the Dells", a popular Midwestern tourist destination. The Dells area has an estimated five million annual visitors.

Buffalo Chili Recipe

1 lb. ground buffalo
1 medium onion, chopped
1 15 oz. can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
2 16 oz. cans peeled tomatoes
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teasponn (error - should be teaspoon) grond (error - should be ground) pepper
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

In a non-stick skillet, saute the ground bison and onion until the meat is browned and the onion is tender. (Can also simmer in a pot with 1 cup water - when cooked, drain water, then proceed).

The Texas Medical Center is the largest medical center in the world with one of the highest densities of clinical facilities for patient care, basic science, and translational research. Located in the Southeast Houston district of Houston, the center contains 49 medicine-related institutions, including 13 hospitals and two specialty institutions, two medical schools, four nursing schools, and schools of dentistry, public health, pharmacy, and other health-related practices. All 49 institutions are not-for-profit.

According to the Texas Medical Center, more heart surgeries are performed here than anywhere else in the world.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804–1806) was the first overland expedition undertaken by the United States to the Pacific coast and back. The expedition team was headed by the United States Army soldiers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark and assisted by Sacajawea and Toussaint Charbonneau. The expedition's goal was to gain an accurate sense of the resources being exchanged in the Louisiana Purchase. The expedition laid much of the groundwork for the westward expansion of the United States.

Dogs Playing Poker refers collectively to a series of sixteen oil paintings by C. M. Coolidge, commissioned in 1903 by Brown & Bigelow to advertise cigars. All the paintings in the series feature dogs dressing and acting like people, but the nine in which dogs are seated around a card table have become derisively well-known in the United States as examples of mainly working-class taste in home decoration.

The titles in the "Dogs Playing Poker" series proper are:

The St. Bernard in the paintings Waterloo and A Bold Bluff was owned by the Fifth Avenue florist Theodore Lang, who counted Coolidge among his friends. The dog's name was Captain.

On February 15, 2005, the originals of A Bold Bluff and Waterloo were auctioned as a pair to an undisclosed buyer for US $590,400. The previous top price for a Coolidge was $74,000.
