A reprint of a share from DaimlerChrysler (Automobiles)
the fine print (I think, it's VERY small and hard to read):
fully paid and non-assessable no par value registered share(s) at DaimlerChrysler AG, Stutgartt, pursuant to the terms of its Articles of Association.
The numbers identifying the share(s) represented by this certificate is/are noted in the share register.
A transfer of the share(s) represented by this certificate will be registered in the share register upon application and presentation of this certificate, properly endorsed or accompanied by a duly executed form of assignment. The share(s) represented by this certificate is/are transferable at the Head Office of Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt am Main and in the United States of America at the office of the Bank of New York in New York, N.Y.
The back of the card reads...
"Original Historische Wertpapiere erhalten Sie unterwww. hwph.de amp;quot
It translates as:
"Original historical shares you can obtain underwww. hwph.de&:
Their site is in English, too. Thanks Raimer for the translation and for this information...
They are sellers of old shares. This is a collecting area that originated in Germany in the seventies, and I think Germany is still the biggest market. The US is quite strong, too. This hobby is also called "scripophily".
postmarked in 2007 with two Deutschland (Germany) stamps
