All the way from Florida
The Alligator is a native of the Florida Everglades. For some time its skin has been fashionably used in the manufacture of bags, shoes, etc., and with this increasing use they had been hunted until they ere almost extinct. To remedy this situation and supply the demand, several thriving Alligator farms are now in operation, where the breeding and care of alligators is the main industry.
This great exaggeration postcard is postmarked in 1966 with 4 cent 'Lincoln' stamp
