a little information in English:

Villefranche-de-Conflent (Catalan Vilafranca de Conflent) is a small walled town in the Pyrénées-Orientales département, southwestern France.

The town is tightly packed within the original castle walls and is bounded on one side by the road running up into the Cerdagne and on the other by the Conflent.

If anyone has any translations, or more information, please add it. This looks like it would be a fun place to visit!

Translation:

The fortified Castle Libera, built by Vauban, dominates the fortified city (11th to 17th century): the stairs, called "the 1000 steps) (19th century) joins the Saint Pierre fortified bridge
The chapel
The women's prison
Views over the city
The Libera fortress
View of the city from the stairs "of 1000 steps".

I'd love to see it too. it's one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.
