Recipes - Moomin's Snufkin Soup

From the Finland cartoon 'Moomin' is the character 'Snufkin' - (the sender translated the recipe ;-) -
this is Snufkin's Though Soup,
6 carrots,
1 big onion,
2 tbsp. oil,
8 dl water,
1 vegetable broth cube,
1/2 dl rice,
2 dl cream
- Peel and slice the vegetables and stir them in oil. Boil water quickly and add broth cube. Add rice and vegetables to the broth. Boil so long that rice gets soft (30 min) Add cream. Mix and warm the soup; -
