Design reproduced in part from a real photo fantasy exaggeration postcard. The Lake Mills, Wisconsin depot and the C. & N. W. railway post office car are real; the street car was added to the original photo by darkroom manipulation.

I'm sure that the manipulation was meant as a comment or as humor, but I can't imagine what it might be.
I agree. I picked up the card because of the calendar on it, then read it and thought it was interesting.
