The World, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

Kennedy Space Center, Fla. - The world - yesterday, today and tomorrow. The top map shows the world as it probably appeared just as the Pangaean supercontinent began to break up 200 million years ago. The center map depicts the world as it is today. The bottom map shows the important changes that will occur in the future, including the drift of Southern California out into the Pacific Ocean towards eventual oblivion in the Aleutian trench.

This is an older postcard, but is postmarked in 2008 with a 26 cent 'wild cat' (Florida Panther) stamp
