The Empire Hotel & Country Club, Brunei, is a tranquil haven of sheer luxury and elegance, Asia 's most opulent resort featuring 359 spacious guestrooms and 61 lavish suites and palatial villas.
This regal retreat is also one of the world's largest resorts, spread over 180 hectares (445 acres) of manicured gardens, alongside an 18-hole floodlit Jack Nicklaus-designed championship golf course overlooking the South China Sea .

Top of the crop among the suites is the Emperor Suite, which boasts former US President Bill Clinton as its most famous guest. The soaring atrium (higher than an average 12-storey building) has a palatial feel with its magnificent white marble pillars accented with gold. The rails of its sweeping staircases are inlaid with a total of 370 Tiger Eye pieces. Other precious objets d'arts decorating the lobby include two sets of Baccarat crystal, gold camels and limited edition Murano vases.
Unique in Asia , the hotel has its own state of the art theatre for live concerts and performances, as well as its own movie theatre, The Empire Cinema. Both are ideal for fun, family entertainment. The Empire Cinema comprises three halls equipped with superb high-tech facilities, including the most modern digital sound systems and the latest international film releases are screened daily.
