The entire lighthouse is painted white.
The light station includes the Belize pilot station, with several buildings and a pier for the pilot boats.
This lighthouse is located on a small island about 15 km (9 mi) southeast of Belize Harbour.
it is accessible only by boat, but visible from all ships entering the harbor.
