Wed., April 10 - Sailed from Southampton on maiden trip; carried 330 first cabin, 320 second class, 750 third class passengers, officers and crew of 940, total, 2340 persons. Sun., April 14 - Struck iceberg at 10;25 p.m. in 41:46 N. latitude, 50:14 W. longitude. Mon., April 15 - Sunk at 2:20 a.m. Of 2340 persons aboard more than 1500 were lost.
