This would be just a couple of years before my family was there. It will have a fair bit less ice now, I think!
I have photographs of me and my mother standing at the edge, which was like a ledge above us (my father took it), and some others. So much more ice than now. That would have been in the mid-60s I think.
It would be interesting to see the difference for sure!!
