Llanfair-pwllgwyngyll-gogery-chwyrn-drobwll-llan-tysilio-gogo-goch is a large village and local government community on the island of Anglesey in Wales.

*Literally translated, the name means: [The] church of [St.] Mary (Llanfair) [of the] pool (pwll) of the white hazels (gwyn gyll) near "over against" (go ger) the rapid whirlpool (y chwyrn drobwll) [and] the church of [St.] Tysilio (Llantysilio) of the red cave (-ogo[f] goch). The latter element has also been translated as "the cave of St Tysilio the Red".

I found this box of food at the store and bought it.  It wasn't that great  but it's "Postcard Food"!

So I cut the box apart and made a postcard with it. (Several years later - I was keeping the box then realized this was a better idea.)

Lapland, also referred to as Lappi Province, is the largest and northernmost region of Finland.

The thickest snow cover ever was measured in Kilpisjärvi in 19 April 1997 and it was 190 cm (6.24 ft). That is over 6 feet of snow in one day!  DANG!

Hello, I am a senior high school student.  On this postcard is one of the most famous night markets. Night markets are often seen in Taiwan and very popular.   You can enjoy them fully with various kinds of foods, cloths, shoes and even pets.  All of these are very cheap.

I am guessing the sender works for The Grace Line.  I can't make out his last name, but it is something like: Henry Lengeson.

The Grace Line is a commercial shipping company that started in the mid 1800's. It established regular steamship service, (or cruise line service) in 1893.

This postcard was postmarked in 1909.

One of the things I love about vintage postcards is the used of old words that are not used anymore and the old scrolling handwriting, however, I am not sure what a lot of this one means!
