The Bush Legacy
on January 20, 2001 George Walker Bush, son of 41 President George Bush, was sworn in as 43 President of the United States. This marks only the second time in U.S. history when the son of a former President became President. The only other instance was in 1825 when John Quincy Adams, son of John Adams, 2nd President of the U.S., became the 6th President of the United States.
