Happy Birthday with Surprise flap and Poem

A Happy Birthday

the photo on the bottom right opens up to reveal a poem:

He will keep what thus he sought,
Safely guarded the dearly bought,
Cherish that which He did choose,
Always love and never lose

(It took me a while to realise this was a Christian poem - the word He is capitalized, referring to God)

Art, Finland, Summer, Bookmarks

There is no description on this postcard, however, in small letters down the side is:

Kuurojen Liitto *Finlands Dovas Forbund* Katriina Laine - 99

it is postmarked with Finland stamp in 2008

What makes this postcard very unique is the fact that there are three panels to it. The window panes running vertical are perforated so the bend. I think maybe you are supposed to break them apart and make bookmarks??
Also, the sender (Minna) knew the card wouldn't make it from Finland to the US without breaking, so she put a used stamp on the back and addressed it to me and then put it in an envelope (with another great see-through Disney postcard ;-) and sent it. She knew I collect stamped postcards!! How wonderful!

Patriotic Postcards for the Troops

Thinking of You -
from Massconnections .com

I found this at a store I was buying postcards at - they told me they don't sell them, just take it home.

The back is addressed already to:

Connecting With Our Soldiers
Mass Connections

Cerritos, CA 90703

I tried to find some info and everything dates to 2005. (They gave these patriotic postcards out for free, collected them and sent them to the troops). However, I'm not sure if they still are collecting these or not. I'm sending one of my cards to this address, just in case ;-)

God Bless America!
