Reversing Falls, Canada

Reversing Falls
Saint John, New Brunswick

Twice daily, the tides of the Bay of Fundy reach such heights, that they actually force the Saint John River to change direction and flow upriver. The rapids at the mouth of the river actually change direction and are thus called Reversing Falls.

Postmarked in 2009 with a Vancouver 2010 Olympics stamp from 1998
