Rocky Mountain Wildlife - Pika

Pika - Ochotona princeps.
Quick and agile, the industrious pika inhabits alpine boulderfields feeding on lush vegetation. A cousin to rabbits and hares, pikas gather vegetation into "haypiles" for consumption during the winter.
