Elveden, England

all are unused

A set of 11 postcards from Elveden were given to me (I have 3 posted here).  The Bottom card reads, "New Tower and Cloisters".  The tower on the postcard was built in 1922.

Elveden is a village and civil parish in the Forest Heath district of Suffolk in eastern England. In 2005 it had a population of 270.

The village is located on the A11 between Cambridge and Norwich and experiences a high volume of traffic. Since at least the 1980s, speculative plans for a bypass have been drawn up and repeatedly shelved.

Elveden Hall is centrepiece to the large country estate of Elveden, and it is the family seat of the Earl of Iveagh.
