Wood Postcard with Picture Frame

 From A Friend

postmarked in 1906 with a 2 cent Washington stamp

The front is made of wood, with an elk carved on it and a picture frame cut out.  The back has the typical postcard backing for this time period made of paper and glued onto the wood with these words:

Japanese Wood Novelty Co., Providence, R.I. (Rhode Island)
Patented, April 3, 1906

I have seen wood postcards, but not with a frame for a photo. Nice touch.
