Mechelen is a Dutch-speaking city and municipality in the province of Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium.
from the little I can find on the web about this building, I think it used to be a house used by the Mechlin fishmongers (sellers of fish they caught) - Now it is a museum of old crafts made in Mechelin.
